Don Simmons is an accomplished leader, strategist, and business professional who directs corporate security operations, and is the Executive Director of Security at The Potter’s House of Dallas. With 30 years of professional experience in security program development and administration, operations planning, and internal controls, he has worked with the U.S. State Department/Overseas Advisory Council, and the American Chambers of Commerce in the Asia Pacific Region, India, and the United Kingdom. Simmons earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, an Executive MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas, and completed an international business residency in Shanghai and Beijing, China. He proudly served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army, Military Police Corp., and the U.S. Coast Guard. Additionally, Simmons is an adjunct professor at Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri, and is a longtime member of the American Society for Industrial Security.
